Football fans are in for a show this season with English Premier League & Champions League Playoff.While everyone are rooting for their team to win.Thier is lot at stake for the big teams to prove.On Monday, football fans were edge on thier seats to watch the first big game of the season & its was really a huge match.Manchester United vs Chelsea.For both team manager's this game was very important as David Moyes marked his first home game as incharge of Red Devils.He started with a bold decision to start with the star player Wayne Rooney against the team who had twice tried unsuccessful offers to sign the English striker.The selection added extra spic in the anticipated game & despite Rooney's brilliant performance, Neither team could get a ball inside the goal.In contrast to David Moyes bold decision to let play Rooney from the start, Jose Mourinho, the Chelsea manager surprisingly started with none of his recognised striker, only bringing Fernando Torres after 60 minutes of play.
Mourinho looked happy after the match ended in a goal-less draw nd was really happy to leave with his team unbeaten after 3 matches.Chelsea is on the top of the standings with 7 points.The decision to start with Rooney showed that he is not afraid to make bold decisions & the striker was treated to an impressive display from Rooney who heard chants from both the sets of fans.While United suppoters kept on shouting "Rooney, Rooney" throughout the match & Chelsea fans kept on shouting "We'll see you next week" & "Sign him up".
In Champions League Playoffs, Arsenal qualify for the group stages draw for the 16th consecutive time.Arsene Wenger's team have established themselves with excellent away wins over Fenerbahce in the first leg of this Champions League playoff & Fulham.Aaron Ramsey, the mid-fielder continued his good form & started where he left off in the previous edition of EPL.Fenebahce had been really bad in the first leg.the second leg still had some pulse but was washed away in he 25th minute when, Lukas Podolski played a killer pass to Theo Walcott.Aaron Ramsey scored twice for the side as they reached the group stage for the 16th consecutive time with 5-0 aggregate victory.
